Channel Icons

So i downloaded a photo, made it 16x16 saved it as a jpeg and my icon max file is set to 20000 on my server, but when i upload my icon it isnt there then 30 seconds later i will get an error saying
"<23:16:50> Transfer "icon_1678731147" reports: (file transfer connection timeout)"

Can somebody please help me!
