Teamspeak3 Audio not working

I use teamspeak alot and all of a sudden, while talking to my friends, their voices kept getting cut of mid sentence. At first i thought it was their internet, but then I realised that it was an issue on my side. It was like teamspeak was muting them/turning their volume really far down for a few seconds, and then it would resume to normal. I started checking my playback options and there was nothing wrong there. I reinstalled teamspeak only to find that the problem was still there. I reinstalled again but this time i deleted all the configurations. This made the problem worse, now there is no sound at all. The only sound is a very faint humming noise. When in playback options, i pressed "play test sound" and all I could here was an extremely quiet hum.

If it helps, I am running the latest version of Windows 10.

Please help me, I was in the middle of something important.
