Hello TS3 community. I had a problem with my TS3 server when I upgraded it to 3.0.12
After upgrading, the server would disconnect people then reconnect them (almost like it was crashing). Anyone new to the server could not connect to it no matter what, only people that had been to the server before. I was also getting periodic database errors in the server log.
I am running Windows Server 2008 Standard 64 bit so I am using the 64 bit version of TS3.
The executable for the 64 bit version of TS3 was always ts3server_win64.exe
I run my TS3 server as a service on my machine, so I would kill the server, copy over the update then start it back up. (updates would only take me like 30 seconds to do).
The new 64 bit TS3 server version (3.0.12) does not have the ts3server_win64.exe executable, it only has the ts3server.exe (I'm assuming 32bit version?) So when I started the server up, it was loading the 3.0.11.4 executable since there wasn't a new one in the package to overwrite the old one with the 3.0.12 files. I reloaded 3.0.11.4 and all of my issues stopped. I believe the 64 bit version of the server has the wrong executable or just named the wrong thing. I did not try renaming the executable that came with it to what my server is trying to load. I just went the safe route and downgraded back to what I know is working until I get confirmation.
