Hello, as a ATHP I use special VDS as TSDNS server, I only give my customers url to connect to server. Therefore if they try to resolve that url they end up with my tsdns server which noone cares about if it gets attacked, since no server goes down because of it. I identified a few things that people can still find my real server ip instead tsdns server, such as reporting to serverlist. I disable that feature for my clients. There was a few more things just like that and I disabled them all. Only netstat and Client own Connection Info left. I don't concern about netstat because people that try to ddos my clients are newbies, most of them wouldn't know what netstat is, or don't know how to find what they need to.
If there would be a permission like b_client_remoteaddress_view but instead defining the server address part it would be great. There are already people asking for it: http://ift.tt/20tu0WK
