Issue with a Teamspeak Server

Hello :)

I've been connected to a friend's teamspeak server and have noticed that for some reason, whilst connected to the server, something in teamspeak is downloading ~150KbPS at even intervals.

I have closed other programs to find out that - yes it is teamspeak, however only when I am connected to that server.
I'm not sure if its a client-side or server-side issue.

I have attempted to re-install teamspeak, connect on a new page, and my friend has restarted the teamspeak server however none seem to be working.

On the following picture you can see two of the 'spikes' that occur, this was having joined the server for roughly 2 minutes: (White boxes for privacy reasons)


I only have 2 megabytes per second download speed so the ~150Kb do impact when they occur :/
I'm not a very techy person so please keep answers simple if possible :)

Issue with a Teamspeak Server

tS3 finds no ports to use

Ive browsed the web for multiple hours now, and the point has come where I dont know what to do.
I´ve tried everything. Restarting my pc, reinstalling teamspeak, disabling all firewalls, and I even checked if the port is used( it´s not). I even found some logs which could be helpful to any of you guys trying to help me.

Teamspeak resolves host name but does not connect.

Hello, I have a problem. I'm using TS on 64x OS. I can't connect to any server with my router ASUS RT-N10E which has all needed ports open. But I can connect to TS servers when I use direct connection without a router.

TS3 causes my PC to freeze.

TS3 causes my computer to freeze for about 1 minute, then it comes back and works normally. This happens every time I: open TS3, open any game, alt-tab out of any game, alt-tab into any game, and when closing TS3. I have been trying to find a solution for weeks and have not had any success. I have tried clean installations, disabling all plugins, clearing the cache, making sure my drivers are updated, and other things I can't remember. The strangest part is that there are never any logs or dump files from the freezes. Below are my PC specs.

Teamspeak 3 64-bit version 3.0.17
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU: Intel i7-4790K @4.0GHz
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4GB
Sound: HT Omega Claro 2
SSD: Intel 520 Series 180GB
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB

TS3 is installed on my SSD with my OS files, but I have already tried installing on the HDD with no improvement. PLEASE I need help with this as it is extremely annoying. Thanks!

My mic will not work at all!

Here is a comparison of TS3 vs. Skype. Skype works with my mic and TS3 does not. What's wrong? I already have it set as my default mic too.

Help!! When I talk too loud my mic gets very loud and distorted.

What client version is running? 3.0.18
What soundcard and headset do you use? Razer Maelstrom (USB Headset)
What operation system is running? Windows 10
Did it work before? It worked in Windows 7
So I have been having a major issue with my mic in teamspeak 3 only! It works fine in Skype. When I talk too loud it starts to get very loud and distorted. Here is an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpoR09tbX88 . You can hear my mic there and it is very annoying! :mad:
