is there a way to reduce audio quality ? (client side)

ok now here is the scenario, I got a shitty internet (100 kb/sec download and 25 kb/sec upload) and I use a teamspeak which the owners of it feel op to set all the channels quality to maximum, and that causes a problem for me, like when 3 guys open their mics in same time, my internet gets laggy, and I cannot do anything while on that ts anymore...

is there anyway to reduce the audio quality from client side to reduce the bandwidth ? any help would be appreciated.
