I'm part of a gaming community called The Art of Warfare, and we have a long standing member who has had a long time medical condition that is gradually getting worse. I'm not going to go into the exact condition due to it being a personal issue, but let's just say that his speech is gradually becoming incomprehensible. His motor skills are fine, and his ability to think are still normal. He just cannot talk normally anymore. At times we cannot understand him, and he gets super flustered.
Is there any add-ons that he can use where he can be in game and type in a box without alt tabbing where it will talk for him in team speak? If not does anyone have any suggestions for third party software for this? Does anyone have any suggestions for who we could get into contact with that could possibly write up a program for this for him? If need be I am willing to start a go fund me page to see if we can get a page started to fund a project to help him, and any other individual who may have medical condition such as this.
He's a great friend of ours, and we would like to help him out. I've spent a while attempting to google the answer, and searching the forums, but when googling anything about text to speech and teamspeak it's always about the text to speech for transitioning between rooms and such. If anyone could help us out on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!
