So here in washington state we've been reintroducing the grey wolf into the region after it had been driven out, now with the numbers doing more than just rebounding we are having problem with them out in the ranch lands...
my inlaws run a small family farm and and use a great Pyrenees to watch the livestock and he does a very good job of keeping the yotes at bay, but i honestly don't think one of these dogs would have much of a chance against a larger wolf much less a pack of them...
I'd like to know your thoughts and experiences on this, have to say i honestly haven't dealt with wolves and am not quite sure of what their capabilities ACTUALLY are, you know what i am saying here, there's the national geographic run down of wolves and such, which i know a bit about, but what are the actual things they do and how they work when it comes to dealing with them on or around your property?
I'd prefer to just shoot them if they cause an issue, but there's politics at play and even though you can legally shot one if it's messing with your livestock it will be a massive headache and hoops to jump through proving you were in the right and all of the rest due to their status....

i guess kinda off topic, even with all of this bull**** going on they are now talking about reintroducing grizzly bears here, combine that with the constant struggle with trying to keep our salmon populations up and healthy, it's going to be a disaster....you think these tree hugging Eco-terroist would get it through their dam brains that you can;t just reintroduce stuff without effecting the whole ecosystem the whole way down the line.
Dogs vs wolves, for protecting home and livestock.
