How in the ever-loving hell are sites like this still allowed to exist? I realize that they say they pull from publicly accessible information but I submit the following:
Mid-last year, due to a family issue (my family), I was forced to sever ties with my parents. Because the phone calls, emails and actually one physical visit we moved to another house about 10 miles from the last.
Prior to moving the wife and I both hit Google hard and heavy and opted out of every site we could find ourselves listed on. (A related topic, why in the hell should I have to create an account with you just to opt out!!!)
Any way, we do not own land in Michigan yet, all of our bills except for ATT go to a post office box... DMV has our mailing as a PO box. After 6 months of being in this new place.. online websites start showing us again at the PO box! WTF!
My mother sends a couple letters to the PO box! Not that I fear for my life or anything but is it going to take a stalker killing the stalkee before **** like this gets changed?
With all the security and privacy bull**** being spouted these days in the media how has these types of 'services' gone overlooked?
I mean ******* and I the only one who hates this ****?
Please explain how this is still legal..
