TS3 Failed to connect to server error

Hello, I'm using the client version 3.0.18 and Windows 7. I'm trying to connect to Teamspeak while using a proxy, but everytime I try to do that it says "Failed to connect to server". I can connect just fine without the proxy and I was able to connect while using a proxy until one day it randomly decided not to work and it hasn't been working ever since.
