I did open a ticket regarding the text to speach module which was moved/appended to the topic "Problems with text-to-speech in Win 8.1 / wrong voice (german)", which is marked as a solved problem.

MY reply in that topic that the solution offered does not realyl work (well, it changes something, it just does not solve the problem) is waiting for any kind of reactionor reply since over 2 weeks now.

You can immagine that I amnot exactly pleased about the fact that my response which clearly states the problem still persiss has obviously not even been read yet, or simply ignored.

Off course I could open a new ticket .. but this seems if this sis a genereal problem (meaning if you do not monitor peoples replies after you move them off to a solved thread) then you deffinitely should solve this in general

TS3 V3.0.18.2 Sound problem

This is a variation on the other threads I've seen concerning TS3 sound cutting out game sounds. My problem is that the sound in TS3 is lowered to zero randomly. The game sounds are fine, but I can be communicating on TS and get a poke saying I'm not responding to another individuals question. If I look at the sound settings, TS volume is at zero. They can hear me but I don't hear them. It started when I installed this latest version, so I'm going back to a previous one.

I just got a new Windows 10 desktop and installed TS3 to use when I raid with my guild in WoW. I realized last night that any time TS is opened and connected to a server it cuts out all sound from everything else on the computer. That includes the game, Youtube, itunes, and anything else but TS that makes sound. As soon as I quit TS the sound comes back. I couldn't find any help on Google except people saying "yea you got to click this thing I don't know what its called though". I am not a computer wiz and need exact steps on what to do. Please help! I have another raid tonight.

The server was online for about 32 minutes and after that, it just crashed. Since that I've fully stopped the instance, deleted all log files and started the instance again. The server tells me, that it was started successful, but when I try to connect, the server dies:

Okay I recently got this problem after installing Windows 10.

The microphone dies as soon as I join a teamspeak server, it works fine as soon as I start the program and test it in the setup and even in Windows recording devices, but as soon as I join a teamspeak server it completely dies. I have to quit teamspeak for it to become "active" again.

Anyone has a solution to this problem?

I just have no clue how to fix this, I've tried reinstalling, including deleting all settings in appdata ect.. Problem still persists.

So, the title doesn't really do my issue justice, so I'll try to explain.

I've created my own TS3 server. It's currently running off of my file server at work. When I log into the server ( via ip address ) from my home location, or really any location other than where the server is physically at, all is well, and multiple people can join, no problem.

The problem happens, when I try to logon to ts, using the same internet connection as my server.

Example: WORKS: Logon to ts via ip address from home, everybody else does too, no problem
Example: FAIL: I logon to TS from my work computer ( not the server ) which is on the same network as the server, everybody else gets booted off, cannot connect, and then I have to restart my server, thus never allowing me to connect to our TS while I'm on the same network.

Does any of this make sense to you guys? Am I able to clearly explain the problem, or should I try to explain it differently?

Anyway, ANY help from the TS masters would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I've forwarded all the right ports in my router (10111, 30333, 9987), and we can connect externally from any other ip address, so a port issue is very unlikely.

But we still can open it with MiddleMouseButton and get our Server-Client log spammed with 'invalid client type message'.

I'm running a community teamspeak server, where some users have Overwolf, and some don't. We don't want to have the icon next to our rank icon when using teamspeak.
We have managed to hide some overwolf features, but only client side. It is hard to tell 100+ people how to disable this on the client side, and Im getting tired of it.

1. Is there any way to disable the icon showing on server side?
2. No? Can we choose to not let Overwolf show to other users? We have only found a solution to hide it for our self, but the other users still see my Overwolf icon.

somehow i'm trying to connect to my TS3 Server via my own Domain Name. Based on this FAQ i did try to conigure the DNS Setup.

My SRV record is not working. Please let me shortly explain the issue.

I have a Server which is running under IP 213.202.206.200 and port 10770. My hoster also provided a short dns name "fcopz.ts.ngz.at". But i would like to use my own Domain in as DNS Name. E.g.: teamspeak.fcopz.com

I'm not really sure how the DNS SRV record should look like in my case. If possible if my TS3 Client is trying to connect to teamspeak.fcopz.com it should be forwarded to 213.202.206.200:10770.

Headset mic not working with TS3- works with all other apps

I have the HyperX Cloud headset. I run Teamspeak 3,the TS3 setup wizard picks up the mic perfectly but when I join any server my mic stops working in any of the 3 config: 1-push to talk 2-continuous 3-voice activ.

I then go to TS3 Settings--> Options-->Capture
I click on 'Begin Test' & again the headset mic works perfectly in any of the 3 config. mentioned above but when I press 'Apply' & return to any server the blue light will not turn on when I speak which means no mic input.

In Skype Tools --> Options --> Audio Settings
I have already unchecked the box 'Automatically adjust microphone settings' but TS3 stiil will not pick up my mic on servers

In Windows 'recording devices' my headset mic is already the 'default device' in the Realtek High Definition Audio family

Recently, I was able to retrieve my license from a long while back (from a few years ago) from my email. So the problem I'm currently having is when, put the license in my main teamspeak server folder, I close my server and when I try to reboot my teamspeak I get a message stating "Failed to connect to server" if I can get some help with this, that would be awesome.

Blue Yeti, Bad Mic Quality in TS3?

Hi! I just bought the Blue Yeti Blackout and when i started up TeamSpeak 3 to go speak with my friends, they said that the quality of my voice was not very good, like not extremely bad, but pretty bad for someone who just payed $150 for a desktop USB mic. The mic sounds great when using the Windows "Listen to this device" feature, the quality is also fine in Audacity, it is just pretty bad in TeamSpeak 3, i have tried playing with the gain, Windows mic volume and the TeamSpeak settings to no avail. I dont know what to do right now :/

I bought this mic thinking the quality through TeamSpeak would be amazing, but i am kinda disappointed now, would be awesome if you guys could share your experience with the Blue Yeti in TeamSpeak :) And maybe tell me if you have had the same experience. As i wrote earlier, the quality is not horrendous, but not anywhere near as good as it sounds in Audacity or in other mic tests, or when plugging a headphones straight into the mic to listen to it for that matter.

Failed to Connect to Server

Yesterday everything was working just fine and i didn't change an inch at my router settings. I have already tried to turn off the firewall, both the router and the windows, and didn't work. There is a peculiar thing, whenever I reset my computer, if the first thing i try to do when starts up, is to enter the channel, works normally and after 15 seconds the connection drops out. I have already tried from other computers from this house and nothing. I have also tried other public servers and nothing and I have tried connecting with the ip numbers instead the of the url as you can see in the logs right below. I saw others asking help for the same issue in here but none of them had answers that I tried and worked out. Please help.

Allow Admin to Change Modify Permission When Creating a Channel

Hey I've been messing around with this issue for a few hours and I'm stumped.

I created a lower level admin server group for my server, called it "Admin." I'm wanting to make it so that when Admins create a channel, they can edit the permission values in the "Regular Needed Powers" box to whatever value they want. Mainly, so they can set both "Modify" and "Delete" to their own power value (60), so only Admins can change or delete the channel.

The problem I've been having is that changing the "Modify" permission results in an error message "insufficient permission modify power." The channel gets created, and the delete value is set properly to 60, but the modify value is set to 0. When I right click the channel and use "Edit Channel" to try to set the Modify value to 60, it results in the same error.

I've been playing around changing things, and I found a way to force it to work. The Grant value of "i_channel_needed_modify_power" of the channel I created is default grayed out. By setting it to 60, then right clicking the channel, clicking Edit Channel, and setting the Modify permission value to 60, it works.

What I don't understand is why that would be messing things up, when the "i_channel_needed_delete_power" Grant value for the channel is also grayed out, and yet it still lets me set that value when creating or editing the channel.

Is there something I am missing?

I've recently taken ownership of a gaming community, and I want to rearrange our TS. I've been playing around with the settings put in place by the previous owner, but I cannot seem to get 1 thing to work :confused: (I think the settings are bit messed up)

We have a default channel (Lobby) that everyone joins at first, then our members of our clan have permissions to move to all other channels, but we have half a dozen channels that we want "Everyone" to be able to join, including guests. But I cannot seem to be able to set it so that guests can join these set channels, without giving them too much permissions so they can join all channels.

So, could some kind people with better knowledge than me, offer me some help please.

Nobody can connect to new server

I've been running TS3 on a VPS for a year and change, it was super easy to set up and for the most part just worked. Times have changed, I want to switch VPS hosts. Got new host, went to set up new TS3 server, and while it seems to start I can't get the client to connect at all.

Both systems are running Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS, Teamspeak 3.0.11.4.

I've opened ports 30033 and 10011 in the firewall, as well as 9987/9988/9999 as I try various port settings in the TS3 server.

When I monitor with tcpdump at the server I see *a* response come back from the server to the client at the TS3 port, which I don't see if I close the port at the firewall or stop the server, so I believe that the server is getting the connection request and either it's malformed or the server just isn't willing to connect. I don't know what a properly formed connection request looks like so I didn't dig into the UDP packet to see if it looks right.

I'm about 80% sure I've missed something basic but I just can't see it so I'm going to drop a bunch of log data and hope it stands out clearly to somebody else.

It may be worth noting that those time stamps appear to be GMT, 5 hours ahead of server time.

I'm interested in what metric the default voice activation level is for iOS and PC. In the client you can only access a bar which doesn't display the actual metrics.

Are these levels measured in DB?

Server does not start with init.d on Ubuntu 14.04

I have a VPS through DigitalOcean and followed all the steps found here (http://ift.tt/1TplaUx). I used ufw for my firewall but I made the proper allowances as indicated in this guide. When I try to start the server I get this:

Starting the TeamSpeak 3 server
/etc/init.d/teamspeak: 42: /etc/init.d/teamspeak: ./ts3server: not found
TeamSpeak 3 server could not start

I have tried researching other forums for a similar problem but have yet to find one.

Only one person talk at any given time (big server with many ppl) - TeamSpeak 3

When having lots of ppl it's a mess with 4-5 ppl trying to talk at the same time.

Is there an addon or something so that only 1 person can talk at any given time?

Everyone should be able to talk, but only one at a time, and "first person using puch to talk etc is the only one that can talk"

Like a slot thing, 1 slot that is free to talk, and when the person stop talking the slot is freed again and can be taken by another one (or the same again).

If other trying to talk to they can get an error message *Talk Slot taken* or /and a beep error (sound) And Admins should always be able to talk over, perhaps a setting thing

Easliy clean up old files - possible?

We have a single channel on our server where we enable file-uploads to our users to share small files with short life-span. Is there an easy way to clean those up e.g. every morning?

Also, for temporary channels, am I correct to assume that all files uploaded to a channel will be garbage-collected/deleted when the channel is removed?

Can I just delete these files on a filesystem-basis or will that leave the server database out of sync? I know that there is a serverquery-interface to handle files like the command ftgetfilelist etc., but that is very inconvenient to use.

Maybe a nice feature would be a channel specific permission like i_ft_file_maxage which takes an argument in seconds and after that time has passed, the file is automatically deleted?

I heard them while we are playing, but when y check the recorded file, only my voice appears.

This server fixes several crashes and adds the ability to specify a mininum version number for each device type separately. Furthermore when deploying server snapshots it is now possible to get back a list of the new channel ID for each channel in the snapshot.

i love overlays but its making games load very slow and kicks me out of other games/programs so i had an idea sorry if posted b4

a who is speaking window that works like the basic built in overlay minimal view that can be made transparent and always "ontop" but NOT a code injection into other programs so doesnt get detected by anti cheating software (and then get u kicked/banned for just seeing whos talking)

is this possible? coz i LOVE and NEED being able to see who is talking on open coms AND wispers BUT atm i cant use the overlays coz they crash the game clients and get me kicked from others

now i play my games in maxed windowed mode but only 1 monitor and finding who is talking for half a second spamming so i can yell at them in a channel with more people than can be displayed is very painful and seeing the name just pop up ingame is epicly easyer to deal with so if i can have this abilty without a code injection would be soooo helpful

sorry if i have rambled im autistic and dislexic and hurding cats on teamspeak is hard without an overlay that works

I have a friend who is trying to join our Hosted TS3 server, He has the details and the password yet he cannot connect,

He says this is due to him having a Dynamic IP? and that it sometimes works sometimes not.

Anybody got any advice on how to get him onto the server? He says he has used a program before to circumvent this and get onto servers, not sure what he means.

South African Flag

My flag used to appear next to my name in TS, until I updated to 3.0.18.2...and now the South African flag has disappeared.

It seems it is not just me, another South African friend on the 3.0.18.2 version has also lost his flag, whilst a friend on the older v3.0.16 still has his flag.

I have not changed any other settings...all I have done is update TS.

How do I get my flag back?

So for a separate application, I needed to update mysql on my Ubuntu 14.04 server to 5.6, I went ahead and did this and now I'm getting messages saying that TS3 cannot connect to the database...

I am getting the following error when I try : Connected Users: Unable to Get Clients
Server name unknown

To give little more information about my set up, I am hosting it on my AWS server this worked for my original server however I had to take a back up of it and deploy it again, this changed the ip address and network setting as it does when deploying and every since I was not able to get this to display the stats.

As far as I know all ports needed are open :

UDP and TCP : 9987
TCP : 10011
TCP : 30033

My server is hosted on CentOS 7 with AWS, I noticed that when I deployed my server and I guess due to the change in IP because of the deployment I got a warning when i joined my teamspeak that says the identity of the server has changed, I accepted this and the teamspeak server works fine as far as user joining etc, however I can not get stats to display, my thinking is something to do with the networking side of the teamspeak is blocking itI have no idea what it could be because I attached my old external ip back and neither by ip or dns name gets me any info back.

I would welcome any suggestions or ideas I really want to display my teamspeak stats on my website which is also hosted on the same box.

Hey guys. I know this thread is posted daily and I read a lot about it but still can't get this stuff to work.

I heard that i have to use SRV records,but i can't figure out the right solution.

I have searched for this and I apologize if it is already here in the forum, but I didn't see this exact question.

Is there any way to block or prevent a Host Message from popping up when you connect to a server? Either by a setting in Teamspeak or a plugin? I connect to a few servers that have messages popup every single time I connect. I don't want to run the risk of accidentally clicking a link inside one of the msgs. It seems this would be an easy thing to block, but I sure can't find it.

Multiple VS over Multiple IP

I am trying to bind each of my two virtual servers to their own IP address both of which are to the same server, I just want to attach a different domain to its own IP. However every attempt results in both servers taking the same IP, or one of the servers not starting and a new blank server being created. I have tried to use inifile=ts3server.ini aswell as voice_ip= however I have not had any luck. If anyone could help that would be fantastic, I have been pulling my hair out over

I have a little problem. When i create with the query admin a channel which is a semi permanent channel and giving to a person a temporary group which can modify the channel, they can't, until i modify as a serveradmin or a channel admin the channel.

I don't know which Channel Propertys has to be set as default.

What i had set for a channel when it is created with query:

• max family clients inherited
• semi permanent
• topic
• channel order
• channel parent id

i hope i do it right.

changing banner script

Hello all,

I wanted to create a banner that would change every so often for my Clan that was easy to update and could be set to a static image easily,
so I created this little php script.

What it does:

• Randomly selects a .jpg from a folder and displays it
• if banner.jpg exists in the same directory as the script, display it instead

I have also included a .htaccess file to allow redirects from banner.jpg to index.php (this is so teamspeak will actually use the script for the banner, but it requires apache's mod_rewrite)

How to use:

• install index.php and .htaccess into directory on your webserver
• create a folder called images and fill it with your banners
• point your teamspeak servers banner gfx to http://<webserver url or ip>/<folder>/banner.jpg
• set an update interval (I think 60 is minimum, but its in seconds)
• test it, and if it works, your done!
• if it is not, make sure your hosting has "AllowOverride all" set and mod_rewrite enabled

Need help with database

Setting Server Group so they can't remove it.

So got my server back up and running.

Now i can't seem to figure out how to set the server groups.

I want to set a server group up so that only server admin can add it.
I also want it to be able to add groups, but not it's own or remove it

I've been going through the advance permissions and have got it so that it can add the groups i want (bar it's own)

Suggestions?

Hi guys,

unfortunately i'm unable to Setup my new server with a small kind of channel permission system. Maybe someone can support me. What i've done so far.



I created all channels. I have 4 different sections (Public, Community Area, FCOPZ Clan Area, Admin Section). For the last three sections i did set a join power permissions, as you can see in the second screen (Community Area = 25, FCOPZ Clan Area= 50, Admin Section = 75).



Then i started to create two new server groups (Community Member + FCOPZ Member) and did set needed permissions for the first of them (Community Member = join_power 25).

Maybe here i made the first faults. But right now i have the following issues with my test user:



Connecting with TEST-USER (without adding to any group) works, in the public area. If i try to connect to the Community Area i'm not allowed, which is ok.

• If i put this TEST-USER into group (Community Member i already get an error directly after the connect (insufficient Client permissions - i_channel_needed_subscribe_power)
• The TEST-USER is not allowed to join any channel (also in the public area) as well as the Community Area because of the following error: insufficient Client permissions - b_channel_join_permanent)

Would be nice if anaybody could support me in getting the server running with my prefered setup.

I rent a ts3 server in 4netplayers and i´m having issues. I try several times to cfg the setup wizzard, but the problem remains.
My friends hear my voice with cuts, or they don´t hear me at all.
I have a 20 mb internet connection, it´s not a connection problem. I also have another server from another enterprise with out problems. So, i know is a problem of this server or from the cfg server.

I was wondering if there was a to hinder a group from promoting a certain group.

For instance, If i have a rank Senior Officer, I want it to be able to promote people to Officer, Member and User. Then I have another rank called Assistant Lead. I want him to be able to promote people to Senior Officer, Officer, Member and User. Then above that is leader who can promote anyone. But since their both in the "normal" group I can't hinder it. How do I fix this?

Teamspeak Disconnects at random intervals for random times.

A friend of mine has used my teamspeak for over a year, and suddenly his connection is dropping in and out and can't hold a connection. He's tried disabling firewalls, reinstalling teamspeak clearing cache, increasing security levels, I've raised codec delays on the server channels, I've lowered security for the teamspeak, I've allowed members to log in an infinite amount of times so it doesn't stop him from reconnecting if he disconnects too soon, but the problem still persists. His internet is stable and it is only happening on our server. We've tried multiple other servers and they all work fine. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem?

Teamspeak Disconnects at random intervals for random times.

I have problem that i can connect to all servers, but my friends use this one : 157.181.161.35:1985 and a can not connect to this, because it says "failed to connect to server"

i do not know what the problem is, because if i connect using my mobile wi fi hotspot it works, but if i use my router it just can't

how can i fix this problem?

Moving a Teamspeak server into a FTP web hosting site

It may sound a little silly, but i really want to move my teamspeak server into my website via FTP. but I'm not sure if it is possible

the teamspeak server is sqlite database and my website supports MySQL so if I can convert sqlitedb into something MySQL can accept, maybe it will run it throught there?

but then again. in order to run it, i need to click ts3server_win64.exe in order to run it, or it may be that it jumps start the ts3server.sqlitedb and move all the TS3 server folders/files into my FTP server

I'm seriously at a lost on what should I really do to migrate my teamspeak server into my web hosting server via FTM. the reason I'm doing this is because 1: I had to direct my real IP to others and mask it via NoIP, 2: DDOS protection, 3: different IP = different location.

Any help giving I would totally appreciate it.

Forces me to chose my payback and mic device

Every time I turn on my pc and then login in to ts, I have to chose my payback device and microphone. I have always had the same device so I should have to do that. When I go to re-chose it, my device is listed twice, one in red and the normal black, so I pick the black one. I even made a profile to auto chose it for me, kinda, but that doesn't work either.

Is there a fix to this so when I turn on my pc I don't have to reapply my devices?

UI freeze

Hello everyone !

I have a little issue with my teamspeak.. When I connect to a server, everything is fine to a point where the UI just freeze. I can still here people and if an admin is here, he can switch me to another channel but my UI is completely frozen. It's like a screenshot.. The thing is that no buttons work anymore so the only way to make it work again is to force shutdown through task manager and launching teamspeak again... until it freezes... again

I tried to find the logs but I don't know where they are.. Does anyons had the same issue here ?

PS : I already try to reinstall (both 32-bit and 64 bit). I'm on windows 10, with a i7 and 16Go RAM so I don't think this is a hardware based problem..

UI freeze

"Server has been shut down: Server Shutdown!"

I host a Teamspeak 3 server (3.0.11.4 version) on Amazon AWS on an Ubuntu OS. The Teamspeak server has managed 70 days uptime in the past, and has been hosted on the Amazon servers since October without any hiccups. I recently rebooted it 2 weeks ago so that's how long it was up for before the following happened:

About 10 users connected to TS and it randomly just broadcasted "Server has been shut down: Server Shutdown!" and booted everyone off. It seemed to still be online when I connected to the server but I rebooted the whole instance anyway.

I was just wondering where to get log files or the proper troubleshooting steps to take to figure out how this occured as it was very odd to see the Teamspeak just randomly shutdown out of nowhere.

Hi forum people,

As the title says, my TS3 keeps dropping out almost as soon as I or someone else talks in the server. I have done the following.

I reinstalled making sure it was 64bit. .
I created a static IP through windows control panel and I added the 3 appropriate TS3 ports to my router using the static IP I created.
I checked the PTT button, I tried connecting to public servers but I got disconnected from them too in exactly the same manner.
I tried disabling all anti virus and firewalls then reinstalling them or different variations of.
I also changed my router from IPv4 to IPv6 to no avail so I changed it back.
I attempted to connect at every step and every single step the same disconnection happened.
I also tried to run as admin. Nope.

The disconnection only occurs as when myself or others are talking and then it times out the re-connection.

Skype/Ventrilo/Mumble etc work. I have no packet loss or connection issues with any other software I own.
I am running windows 10 64bit with D'link DSL-2877AL router.

ts3 and world of warship do not like each other.

I have major issues with TS3 and world of warship. i get the dreaded ( Action currently not possible due to spam protection. Please wait a few seconds and try again.) post . plus it will shut off the mic plus sound in ts3 and game go in and out. some times it will lock up the game. Once in a while on marvel online too. do not have problems with the other 6 games i play. :confused:

[Help] Trying to compile and run example plugin, shows Failed to open plugin.

I'm trying to make my own plugin, and first I want to make sure everything works fine, I have all the headers and source files copied from the pluginsdk to my C++ Project (Visual Studio 2015) and included.. I have it set to build the project to a .dll, the build process runs fine but when I try to load it into TeamSpeak, it fails, only telling me "Plugin failed to load: Failed to open plugin."

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi guys,

my TS3 Server crashed and the hoster is unable to get it restartet at all, so i got the "ts3server.sqlitedb" from the hoster. Now i'm trying to run a local Server and start this Server with my "ts3server.sqlitedb". But this is not working, i already tried a couple of older Server Version but always in the logs i get this error:

following you will find my interpretation of a dark design for TeamSpeak. Being an owner of a multi monitor system I always felt annoyed by this big pearly-white spot disturbing my nightly gaming session, which finally forced my hand. Most areas of TeamSpeak should be covered. Still, there might be some spots left I missed. Or some settings are just not suitable for daily use. Hit me up if you found bugs, have suggestions, etc.

The design was created with following Design settings:

Style: System Default
Icon Pack: Default

However, I started working on an Icon Pack to round out the whole package. It is very much Work In Progress, and only supports a few icons, and may or may not be updated in the close future.

Known Bugs:
- Away Button and Speaker Mute Button Menu buttons are black
- News Banner Font colour is black (worked the majority of time, mysteriously stopped working shorty before release without any change to the releveant code, happened with another design of mine, not sure what to do any more at this point)

Joomla Plugin Not Seeing Clients

I installed the Joomla Teamspeak Web Viewer plugin (developed by mediahof - Multimedia, Communication and IT) on our website and it was working great. But we needed to create a guest room and I started tinkering around with the permissions and screwed something up. So now the Joomla plugin isn't reporting the clients on the server. It shows the server OK but nothing else. I tried to change the permissions back but I couldn't remember everything. On the plugin itself, it lists the criteria that are required to make the viewing work. I've verified that three of them are working fine but I can not change the first one back to allow the selection of the server. When I click on "virtualserver_select" it shows the checkbox for a few milliseconds but then blanks out again. So apparently something I set on the server messed up this setting.

Can someone please explain to me how to change this setting back?

Teamspeak ganks all system sound

So I got a new ssd and graphics card and reinstalled Windows 7. Naturally, the first program I download is teamspeak 3.

A few steam games installed, I launch one and found it had no sound. I alt-tabbed and found nothing had sound but TS. I even tried to test my headset and got this 'Failed to play tone' error. When I close TS, sound resumes, but when it is running it makes sure it is the only app with sound.

My Rig:
Windows 7
Nvidia GTX 960
8 Gigs Ram
500 Gig SSD
Teamspeak 3.0.18.2

Things I have tried:
Sound>Communications>Check Do Nothing
Sound>Playback>Headphone Properties>Advanced>Uncheck Exclusivity

MIDI Piano keyboard to Teamspeak 3

Hello,

I would like to know if you can actually plug in your MIDI/USB piano keyboard and take that sound and redirect it into the Teamspeak 3 microphone.
I'm using a Yamaha PSR E323 and an Alesis MIDI/USB cable.
I'm running on Windows 8.1 right now.

I know I can connect my keyboard to Synthesia (named USB2MIDI in the Synthesia's option).

Hello, first I want to thank everyone before hand for all help they give me as I am a complete noob. Anyways, I currently have a teamspeak3 server setup and am going to be moving it (changing ip and whatnot) and there is a lot of time and effort I have put into it. Setup:
- Asus Xonar U7 (USB Soundcard)
- Sennheiser HD598
- ModMic 4.0

My Problem is when i calibrate the Mic in Windows correctly (Properties, Level is about 60 -> perefect) then everybody can understand me clear and well in Teamspeak 3.0. When i start Counter Strike GO for example then with Level 60 the voice is so loud nobody can hear me and the mic makes the static noise...

If i reduce the Level to 15 then everybody can understand me ingame and my voice is good and clear without any static noise. But in Teamspeak nobody can hear me, because when i set the Level slide under 50 my voice in teamspeak 3.0 is too silent.

So i need you help. What can i do to boost the mic in Teamspeak or any other tips?

I have a big problem i hope someone can help me with.

On my server i have the following groups

Administrator = Access to all permission = 75
Super Admin = 70
Moderator = 65
Clan 1 = 60
Clan 2 = 60
Clan 3 = 60
VIP = 40
Regulars = 30
Guest = 25

Then i have 3 room to each clan

Clan room 1
Clan romm 2
Clan room 3

All clan members have the same permission they can move, kick and ban other members below them but not members over them and the must not have permission to move around, kick ban each other.
How do i setup permission for that ?

Only clan members from clan 1 must be abel to join clan room 1, clan 1 must not be able to join clan room 2 and clan room 3 and the other way around.

is there some way to receive channel messages from ANY channel on a teamspeak server in server query?
I currently have the problem that i only receive server messages and messages in the channel the server query user is in.

I am (obviously) using the Telnet connection on port 10011.
I am trying to create a bot which should react to commands by any channel.

Restricting Member Add/Remove Power to only channel groups

Hey Guys,

I searched a long time through google and couldn't find an answer to this...:


I've ran into some problems configuring my server-groups and channel-groups.

I have the following (I'm not listing all of them...) Server Groups:
- Server Owner
- Server Admin
- Admin
- Member

And the following Channel Groups:
- Channel Admin
- Operator
- Voice


I have assigned the member add/remove powers inside of the channel groups so that the Channel Admin can add or remove an Operator and the Operator can add or remove the voice channel group.

Inside the Server Groups it's the same: Server Admin can only be added by Server Owner. Admin only by Server Admin and Member only by Admin.

Now I want the Server Admin and above be the only server groups able to assign one of the three channel groups.
So Admin and beyond don't have the power to add or remove channel groups.

BUT: I don't want any channel group be able to add or remove server groups, not even members...


I personally think that it's not possible, or is there a way to restrict the add or remove powers to only server groups or only channel groups?




And another question in general:

Why does Teamspeak check the following question when editing permissions?

(2) Is the editing clients i_permission_modify_power greater or equal to the Grant-Power for the concerned permission of the editing client?

Wouldn't it be enough to just check if there is a grant power for the editing client set? If you do like this, this could also be the max value to set for this permission.

Because now there is no difference if you have i_permission_modify_power = 1 and a Grant-Value for let's say Ban_Power of 1 or if you have i_permission_modify_power = 50 and a Grant Value for the Ban_Power of 50. In both examples you can edit the Ban_Power of someones client permission to 75 (assumed that you have also enough i_client_permission_modify_power of course).

Hi, my question is ¿How can i set some permissions for all my servers in Server Admin and more? I mean.

For example, if i want that all the admins that there are in my multiple virtual servers cant modify the quota transfer for exmple. So, how can i do to set these permissions automatically, each time i create a new virtual server instead of have to modify it manually, by myself.

I press wrong check box in server group and now "No premissions to view this group" - How i fix that? I don't want delete TS3 server and doing new, because all settings, channels be deleted then.

Too many times have I had to move to an AFK channel to indicate to everyone in the channel know that one person is not available to listen anymore. I could tell them something like "Hey, I'm muting." but it could be during a conversation where people are trying to talk to each other. I already don't have to tell them "Hey, I'm leaving the channel." all the time since the server does that for me. I also mute my sound since it is convenient when I need the noise to stop. I notice that the channel is globally updated so everyone else can see that I am muted with an icon. So, in that sense, it is not a client-only status. I think that, at least, there should be client setting that indicates with an audio que "User muted." and "User unmuted." when anyone's icon is updated. Furthermore, I less restrictively suggest that this setting is on by default. It would be similar in function to the existing audio indicators "User joined the channel." and "User left the channel." but less nuisance since instead of 6 and 6 syllables, they are 4 and 5. If this is too big of a change for user experience, perhaps add it in as a default off setting so some can voluntarily try it out experimentally by activating it in their settings. They will be able to provide feedback on how useful or annoying it is.

When I close my computer, it goes into a sleep/standby state. If I close my computer with teamspeak open, and I am actively connected to a server, the problem is initiated. I open back up my computer and regain connection. However, when I join a channel on the server I was last connected to, I can hear everyone and they are alerted to my presence, but when I push my push-to-talk button, the blue indicator does not light up and they also cannot hear me. I resolve the issue by exiting teamspeak and starting it up again.

Newest TeamSpeak 3 won't open

Hello guys!
I've been using TS for about 5 years now. I've had some issues before, nothing mentionable, but this is something I can't overcome.
I formatted my PC yesterday, because reasons, and after that I downloaded TeamSpeak 3 from your official site. Installed it and it just won't open. No error, no nothing, it just won't open. It appears in the Task Manager for a second, but then it disappears. I've tried reinstalling, compatibility mode, Run as Admin, and still nothing. I don't know what to do anymore and this problem affects my gaming experience alot. I also tried downloading older version and it worked like a charm. Of course I couldn't connect to any servers, but at least the program started.

Newest TeamSpeak 3 won't open
